Hello everyone,

Today, we’re all in Gore to celebrate Mum’s 90th birthday. Some of us came from Australia, some from different parts of New Zealand. But we’re all here because of Mum.

I’m the youngest of her seven kids. Watching Mum over the years, I’ve learned so much. She’s kept our family close and taught us what’s important. Today isn’t just about her turning 90. It’s about the big family she’s created, which now includes her great-grandchildren.

Mum, your life has touched all of ours. We’re here today because of your love and strength.
