AI is coming for your job?

Artificial intelligence (AI) and robots have been the subject of debate for some time now. Our jobs will not be taken by AI; jobs will be taken by those who leverage AI.

In 2030, up to 800 million individuals will potentially lose their jobs as a result of automation, according to McKinsey & co. This reality has sparked concern among workers, as many fear being displaced by machines. However, experts argue that it is not ai that will take our jobs, but rather those who fail to adapt to the changing landscape of work. The key to success will be leveraging ai to enhance job performance and create new opportunities. In order to thrive in the new job market as the workforce becomes more automated, it is important to focus on upskilling and reskilling efforts. The recent prediction by Goldman Sachs about artificial intelligence’s impact on jobs has raised concerns about the displacement of millions of workers. Over a period of time, generative ai is expected to replace 300 million full-time jobs. Ai, however, is only partially impacting most jobs and industries.

It’s normal for workers to feel fearful about the potential job loss and displacement that may come with advances in technology, such as ai. However, these fears may be overblown. The good news is that despite fears surrounding ai’s impact on jobs, predictions of mass unemployment due to it seem to be overblown.
