When I started studying psychology I met a super cool Organisational Psychologist and she did some career profiling on me. At the same time I was learning about psychological profiles at Monash University (where I did my undergraduate study – and I highly recommend!). Here is some of what we agreed on:

Sarah’s personality is calm, confident and analytical. She doesn’t agree that she is considered to be confident. However, she trusts her insights and intuition and usually values her own opinion over that of others. She is good at future-orientated thinking as well as understanding the implications and benefits of implementing ideas. Sarah usually prefers to work alone, interacting with others for meaningful conversation.
Sarah has a natural leadership ability, but is happy to follow others that have earnt her respect. She likes to generate creative ideas and is most energised when acquiring knowledge or mastering new skills. Sarah is reserved and introspective. She needs time alone after socialising with others. Sarah is curious and likes to understand how things are related and interconnected. She is objective and analytical, and is good at remaining objective and impartial when others get emotional.
Sarah is highly structured and prefers organisation and careful planning. She is certain that the world would be a better place if everyone would simply do what they’re supposed to do when they are supposed to do it. Sarah can be unnerved if things don’t go as she had planned, and she definitely does not like surprises. Sarah is a list maker and is certain to cross things off when they are accomplished.
She dislikes monotonous routine which makes her restless. She prefers to innovate or have opportunities to learn. Sarah can be impatient with persons she considers less competent, but respects intellectual people
